Continuing the Tradition
Despite the University of Minnesota Board of Regents' decision to discontinue the varsity men’s gymnastics team in 2020, the Friends of Minnesota Men’s Gymnastics is advocating to uphold the university's tradition in competitive men’s gymnastics. Minnesota Men’s Gymnastics Club has transitioned to the collegiate GymACT conference, paving the path for a new era of excellence.
Minnesota Men’s Gymnastics’ Journey
Minnesota Men’s Gymnastics alumni have united to establish the Friends of Minnesota Men’s Gymnastics, offering vital structural and financial backing for our emerging GymACT program. As part of this league, which encompasses competitive collegiate club programs and former varsity teams, Minnesota Men’s Gymnastics will thrive in a redefined context. Through GymACT, our program will persist in nurturing junior gymnasts and advancing our storied century-old legacy in the sport.
